In the Poststube 1327, just a few steps away from Lake Traunsee, we invite you to a special highlight: our fondue nights. Get inspired: by the unique combination of regionality, tradition and modern cuisine. Experience how enjoyable an evening in the Poststube 1327 can be.

Fondue: Redefining Togetherness and Taste.

Our Fondue evenings celebrate togetherness and flavor. Whether you prefer meat, fish, or a vegetarian option, we offer the perfect Fondue experience. Each evening begins with a delicate starter, followed by your choice of Fondue main course, and ends with a sweet finish that perfectly rounds off the night.

How it works - the fondue experience.

 

  1. Dip and discover: Skewer an ingredient, dip it into the hot soup and let it steep.
  2. Refine and enjoy: Combine the cooked ingredients with our homemade dips.
  3. Relax and unwind: Fondue is sociable. Take your time, savour the moment and share the experience with your loved ones.
  4. The crowning glory: The remaining soup is refined with a suitable "shot".

Meat 

Beef broth, venison loin, veal fillet, beef fillet, mushrooms, potatoes, cauliflower, salad, seasoned ketchup, cocktail sauce, aioli, gremolata.

Traunsee fish broth, crayfish from the Traun wetlands, pike-perch cheeks, Großalm trout, char, mushrooms, potatoes, cauliflower, salad, seasoned ketchup, cocktail sauce, aioli, gremolata.

Veggie 

Miso broth, Mühlviertel bean cheese, cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms, potatoes, Brussels sprouts, salad, seasoned ketchup, cocktail sauce, aioli, gremolata.

When and where?

From 22 December 2025 until the end of March 2026, we offer our delicious fondue daily on request. Perfect for sharing unforgettable moments with your loved ones – available for bookings of two or more per fondue option.
