Park your Audi in Oberburgau am Mondsee. From there the mountain adventure awaits: you hike uphill along well-maintained forest paths for approx. 2 hours - just under 600 metres in altitude. And it's worth the climb!
Culinary highlight - Kienberghütte
Once at the top, not only fantastic views await, but also a real mountain hut feeling. The Kienberghütte is known for its honest Austrian cuisine - cheese dumplings, bacon bread and sweet pastries. The highlight? Home-made bread famous throughout the region.
Tip in autumn: You can watch the bread being freshly baked by the crackling open fire - and perhaps take a warm loaf home with you.
